This software update for Microsoft® Windows® XP, Windows 2000, Windows Me (Millennium Edition), and Windows 98 SE (Second Edition) operating systems, improves the previous Prodikeys DM/DM Value software.
Enhancement
- Improves the auto-chord accompaniment function in INTELLIGENT mode.
Fixes
- Resolves the compatibility issue with motherboards using VIA chipset (PM800 Northbridge and VT8237 Southbridge combination).
- Resolves the software accessibility issue in Windows XP non-Administrator accounts.

- To install this update, do the following:
- Download the PKeyDM_PCPatch_L9_1_12.exe file into your local hard disk.
- Double-click the .exe file.
- Follow the instructions on the screen.

This driver update (version 1.15) is for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.1 and 1.15) on Windows 98SE, Windows 2000,
Windows Millennium and Windows XP.
*Important: This driver only works for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.1 and 1.15).
Driver update for Creative Prodikeys (version 1.0) will be available soon.
The software version number can be found on the splash screen at the startup of the software.
This update includes:
- Octave Shift and Sustain function (for MIDI sequencing software)
Enables you to add sustain effect, and expand the MIDI keyboard virtually
to play notes on higher or lower octaves when using other MIDI sequencing
software such as Cakewalk.
- Press the 2nd Internet portal button
(labeled Prodikeys) to add sustain effects.
- Press the 1st Internet Portal button (labeled Creative) to shift the pitch of the MIDI keys an
octave lower
- Press the 3rd button (labeled SoundFont) to shift the pitch of the MIDI keys an octave higher.
- Motherboard compatibility
Enables wider compatibility with various motherboards.
Installation Note:
- Download and run the file PKeysDrvUpdate.exe on your computer.
- After that, install the driver (Setup.exe) by following the on-screen instructions.
