You can also download your favorite song in MIDI format from the Internet for learning in the Learn mode.
After you have downloaded and saved the MIDI file on your PC, start your Prodikeys software and go to the Learn mode. Follow the steps below to import the file for learning:
1. Select MIDI Files from the Song menu.
2. Click Import button to browse and select the MIDI file you want to learn.
3. Click on the MIDI file or Track button to view all the different tracks in the MIDI file.
4. Select the track you would like to learn, then Close dialogue box.
5. Select a lesson:
- Listen to the tune
- Learn the notes
- Learn the notes with rhythm
*As MIDI files are not programmed with Function Key Chords; Lesson 4 and 5 are not available for learning MIDI songs.
6. Press the [Spacebar] to begin lesson.
7. Follow the Blue triangles and Red circles, and play the corresponding music keys.
